Print Mode Sets or Quality Sets or Quick Sets

 

Ben Brezinski from Hewlett-Packard presented a proposal for work he had been investigating for Print mode sets. There is a need to be able to specify a group of settings and define a set for these settings. 

Versioning of UPDF.DTD

Since there will be various people working on the UPDF.DTD, the must be a process for modifiying the file so that we don't lose changes. There is no central source code management system we can use since we each represent different companies. Chuck Adams will store the updf.dtd on his server using ClearCase. When someone wants to make changes they have to send email to the reflector letting everyone know it is being modified. Once changes are made, the new file should be sent to Chuck who will check it in to ClearCase and put it onto the UPDF ftp site.

Mozilla and XUL update

Mozilla is the open source project from Netscape. XUL is an XML based user interface specification being used by the project. Mozilla just released milestone 10.check it into ClearCase and put it onto the UPDF ftp site.

Do a VB prototype that reads a UPDF file and displays some UI.
