The IPP WG meeting was attended by 20 people. Carl-Uno Manros gave an overview of work done by the WG since the previous IETF meeting, which was mainly in the IPP notifications area and some work on additional operations, primarily for operation and administration. Bob Herriot went over the main features of the currently proposed 4 notification delivery methods. The question about whether the IESG would require one of the methods to be mandated for all implementations was raised (present thinking in the WG is that two methods are SHOULDs and two are OPTIONAL). Ned Freed promised to look into this and give timely feedback to the IPP DL as most of the notification drafts are currently out for WG last call. There was some discussion about the IPP WG charter. Ned recommended to update the current charter rather than going through the process of creating an all new charter. Carl-Uno Manros Chair of IETF IPP WG
