- Discussion
  - Notifications to SC list are still not delivering reliably to SC members that use 
    Gmail (and some other email services)

  - This isn't just a Gmail problem
    - MS Outlook (Office 365 hosted Exchange) seems to also have problems

  - Mike is struggling to make our mail "taste good" to receiving servers

(5) 3D / IPP article development - status (All)

- Discussion
  - (Paul not here to discuss)

  - We did discuss outline at last week's TT but no clear next steps

  - Smith created and shared slides with topologies and such (box diagrams)

- GSoC 2021 Mentors Conference on 11/05/21 - major changes for GSoC 2022 (Till)
- Eligible Contributors - not only Students
- From now on it will not be required to be a university/college student.
- Anyone 18 years old can participate.

- Two project sizes:
- 16 GSoCs with ~350-hour projects, then 2021 with ~175-hour projects.
- Now we can have both.
- The organizations can select from these two sizes for each project idea they offer.

- Coding period flexibility:
- Before, there was always a fixed time period of ~3 months in which the projects had
to be completed.
- Also with fixed dates for the 2 or 3 evaluations.
- From 2022 on, the project period can be extended to 22 weeks on agreement between
mentor and contrbutor.

    - IEEE-ISTO finally cashed the check on 12/01/21

    - Smith worked on resetting Bill's subscription to SC list in realtime

    - Smith had in the past asked that chair@pwg.org be CC'ed on billing reminders

ACTION: 11/29/21 - Jeremy to ask ISTO to resend membership billing emails and have each message: (a) be sent to all representatives of a given Member; and (b) CC chair@pwg.org so that the chair can also know that it actually was sent

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work

- Perhaps have as a topic for some future PWG F2F to enumerate core set of concepts with which to construct an outline for the document

ACTION: Smith/Jessica to update "liaison agreement template" or create new "license agreement template" that would allow a partner to grant to PWG the right to use or reference content within - should this be created by the PWG or by the org that is granting the license?
