Printer Driver Working Group Status

Accomplishments:

1.  Continued working on defining the Common Job Properties for printer drivers
    under Linux.

2.  Worked on a set of slides to present to the FSG meeting in Japan.


In Progress:

1.  Creation of the printer driver API Specification.

2.  Implementation of the API library.

3.  Implementation of a reference standard printer driver.


Future Plans:
---------------
1.  Integrate Japan's work with High level drawing calls into the standard.

2.  Integrate Japan's work with Bidirection status/communication into the standard.

3.  Capabilities support from the printer driver.


Issues/Concerns:
--------------------
1.  Lack of support from other printer driver writers.

The standard is not far enough along to set a schedule.
