Job Ticket API (JTAPI) Working Group Status

Accomplishments:

1.  Created slides to be presented during FSG meeting in Japan the
    week of March 23rd. 

In Progress:
--------------
1.  Creation of the JTAPI Specification

2.  Continue to enhance and update IBM provided C JTAPI header files to
    match FSG JT WG design.


Future Plans:
---------------
1.  Create C header files that represent JTAPI.

2.  Implement C version of JTAPI.

3.  Create Java interface that represents JTAPI.

4.  Implement Java version of JTAPI.


Issues/Concerns:
--------------------
1.  Lack of resources (time and funding) to implement C version of JTAPI.

2.  Lack of resources (time and funding) to implement Java version of JTAPI.

3.  Lack of direction from FSG regarding the license to use when contributing
    code to FSG and when developing code for FSG. The MIT license seems to be 
    the least restrictive, but some companies prefer CPL because of the 
    warranty and disclaimer.
