Job Ticket API (JTAPI) Working Group Status

Accomplishments:
---------------------
1.  Discussed Libre meeting that was held last week.

2.  Fininshed a white paper that defines the C JTAPI. The paper will
    be given to Japanese FSG who will tranlsate it and present it to 
    IPA. 

In Progress:
--------------
1.  Update of the JTAPI Specification.

2.  Update of the JTAPI UML diagrams.


Future Plans:
---------------
1.  Add 1.0 function to header files of C version of JTAPI.  

2.  Implement C version of JTAPI.

3.  Create Java interface that represents JTAPI.

4.  Implement Java version of JTAPI.

5.  If the JTAPI white paper is accepted by IPA, then an engineering 
    proposal will be written and presented to IPA with the hope of 
    procuring funding to implement the 1.0 C JTAPI. 


Issues/Concerns:
--------------------
1.  Lack of resources (time and funding) to implement C version of JTAPI.

2.  Lack of resources (time and funding) to implement Java version of JTAPI.

3.  Lack of direction from FSG regarding the license to use when contributing
    code to FSG and when developing code for FSG. The MIT license seems to be 
    the least restrictive, but some companies prefer CPL because of the 
    warranty and disclaimer.
