Job Ticket API (JTAPI) Working Group Status

Accomplishments:
---------------------
1.  Completed review of the fsgjt_destination.h, fsgjt_document.h, 
    fsgjt_media.h, fsgjt_stitching.h, and fsgt_job.h files,
    incorporated the review comments and redistributed the files.

2.  Changed the date for the Final version of the JTAPI Specification 
    to 30March2004 so that it aligns with Final version of JTAPI 
    Header files because the review of the header files has caused 
    changes to the spec.

In Progress:
--------------
1.  Creation of the JTAPI Specification

2.  Continue to enhance and update IBM provided C JTAPI header files to
    match FSG JT WG design.


Future Plans:
---------------
1.  Create C header files that represent JTAPI.

2.  Implement C version of JTAPI.

3.  Create Java interface that represents JTAPI.

4.  Implement Java version of JTAPI.


Issues/Concerns:
--------------------
1.  Lack of resources (time and funding) to implement C version of JTAPI.

2.  Lack of resources (time and funding) to implement Java version of JTAPI.

3.  Lack of direction from FSG regarding the license to use when contributing
    code to FSG and when developing code for FSG. The MIT license seems to be 
    the least restrictive, but some companies prefer CPL because of the 
    warranty and disclaimer.
