(2) August F2F agenda - Brian Smithson on HCD PP

- Discussion
  - Added HCD PP topic to second morning (for European callers)
  - Updated schedule and added missing IPP topics
  - Kept dates as 23-24 August 2016

  - Smith gave Daniel instructions on how to register

(5) Hosting of OpenPrinting website on PWG server?

- Discussion
  - PWG to fund a separate VPS on Linode and work with Till to get 
    that configured
  - Mike to get this new VPS added and notify Jane / ISTO that the 
    PWG's bill will go up

- Separate topic:  Should we construct a new "openprinting@pwg.org" 
  and / or Open Printing WG for increasing communications cadence 
  and awareness between PWG and OpenPrinting?
  - Smith to add discussion of this topic as a slide / topic for the 
    August F2F plenary

(6) Scheduling Call with Pete Basiliere - Gartner 3D Printing Analyst

- Discussion
  - 2:30pm Eastern 07/14 - Paul Tykodi initial call w/ Pete Basiliere to
    check with Gartner about their analysis / study and keep them "on topic"
  - Lots of silos and apples & oranges processes observed
  - Paul to ask if another meeting can be scheduled where the broader SC 
    can attend to have a dialog

  - We basically use the IEEE Call for Objections process 
    - can we simply reference the IEEE process?
  - Is the process for updating Process 3.0 that onerous? 
    - If not, let's try to get this and other stuff into a Process 4.0?

ACTION: Smith to send out a query to the SC to request recommendations for what to add to a Process 4.0 update, and use that to create a first draft of Process 4.0 in time for the August F2F

- Discussion
  - Announcement was sent
  - 6 respondents to survey - 2.5 attendees attending in person thus far 
    (1 person only for 1 day)
  - Consider virtual F2F since there is such a light list of physical 
    attendees?
  - Should we have a threshold for physical attendees that would decide 
      whether to virtualize the F2F?

Previous Action Items

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG
- OPEN - action applies particularly to LDAP OID usage
- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID
- Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID

- IBM gave the PWG a permanent arc for the LDAP schema OIDs for the version 2 schema
-- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Ira to update "pwg-namespace-policy-20060112.txt" - add "white" prefix and update project and document lifecycles
- OPEN - in progress - need separate whitepaper lifecycle and WG draft lifecycle
ACTION: Smith to post draft policy for PWG Last Call and Call for Objections
- OPEN - in progress - see discussion in minutes of SC meeting on 04/27/16 - Smith posted 2 drafts in the last week and there has been much email discussion - further discussed in SC meeting on 07/14/16
ACTION: Smith/Ira to write job descriptions for PWG Chair, PWG Vice-Chair, and PWG Secretary
- OPEN - in progress - should result into a new policy document (eventually plain text but start with MS Word working drafts) - Smith sent initial draft to Ira - Ira proofed and posted for SC review - Feedback from Bill requesting more details on the specific responsibilities of each officer
ACTION: Smith to reach out to the 3MF officers to work on co-branding and PWG collaboration
- OPEN - in progress - Emmett is interested in co-branding - Smith to reach out to encourage prototyping from 3MF membership and provide them with a new 3D PJT for inclusion within the 3MF file (for those situations where 3MF is transported over non-IPP transports)
ACTION: Ira to do a liaison slide for new CC HSM TC
- OPEN - do this for August F2F when more info is available - may be closed becuase the TC has been formed but has never met
ACTION: Ira and Alan work w/ Anne Price to develop a joint TCG/PWG demo of HCD-TNC profile in a Printer with a Router or OS evaluating the Printer Health

ACTION: Smith to hassle all SC members to create and a GitHub and PWG website accounts for use reviewing IPP Everywhere Self Certification and code changes
- CLOSED
ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work
- OPEN - perhaps have as a topic for the August F2F to enumerate core set of concepts with which to construct an outline for the document - Smith to add discussion of this topic as a slide / topic for the August F2F plenary
ACTION: Smith to contact Jeremy Leber for 1-2 November or 15-16 November for PWG F2F
- CLOSED - Smith pinged Ashley Holbrooke as well on reminder - moved to 15-16 November
ACTION: Smith to help Mike get renewed code signing certificates from ISTO (paid for by PWG) for IPP Everywhere Self-Cert tools
- CLOSED - CSR issued from Mike to GoDaddy - certificates have been issued
ACTION: SC members to review Mike's new 3D, IPP Eve, and SM landing pages
- OPEN - in progress - Anne and SC members have reviewed, no major issues, "one page website" layout adopted
